We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel by the shore of the Baltic Sea. The views over the water were absolutely stunning. The location was perfect, offering easy access to the town center and breathtaking sea views from the rooms and the restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that our every need was met. The hotel provided a wide range of amenities, including a spa and wellness center with a sauna, swimming pool, and jacuzzi. The beach access was a definite plus, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony and sitting area where we could relax and take in the view. The hotel also offered free parking and wifi, making our stay even more convenient.
We highly recommend this hotel to others.

It was the only hotel available in the town we wanted to be in and at the price we wanted to pay. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The walk from the room to reception was like going on a marathon. It must have being one hundred to two hundred yards The corridor carpeting was old, stained, frayed and appeared dirty. The decor was dark. The bedroom was shabby with light wires running across the room held up by tape. The Breakfast was good.and the hot chocolate was " to die for " it was worth the visit alone

The breakfast and hotel dinner was very good
The hotel needs a total redo. Also on a major two lane highway. You pay extra for the view but you get noise all night. Spa.. it must be neighborhood club and they all check in at the front desk. Major cob webs in the shower. Also the front desk should have offer to make dinner reservations at the Ronne rest., we had a very hard time finding any place to eat. The front desk very nice but not helpful.

The location was perfect as it was close to the city center, allowing us to easily explore the town. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The service we received from the staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options to choose from, ensuring a great start to our day.

Very nice breakfast. Close to city centre and amazing SPA with free coffee, soft drinks and fruit. But opening hours for SPA are very limited (Monday = closed, Tuesday = 16-20, Wednesday = 16-20, Thursday = 16-20, Friday = 16-20, Saturday = 10-20, Sunday = 10-16). Children under 16 years are not allowed to use SPA.
Dark and dusty rooms, at least our room with city view (not see view) and very uncomfortable pillows.

We only had one night, but we thought Hotel Griffen was a great location in Bornholm. We had booked three sea view rooms, and the view of the Baltic was wonderful. Each room had a private balcony. The Spa area was the best we've ever experienced. The staff was helpful even though there was a political convention there at the time of our stay, and they were busy with dignitaries.
The rooms themselves had few amenities and could use some updating. For the cost, and I considered this on the expensive side, the hotel Spa was the greatest amenity. But we were surprised the the Spa and pool area was only open from 4pm to 8pm. Because we had gone into down during that time, we had little time to use the Spa area. We were not told this at check-in. Also, the dining room closed at 10pm, and there was no room service. The in-room information booklet had said that the dining room would be open until midnight on Friday nights. This was not the case, and we were told that there was no other place in town to get dinner that late. We would still recommend this hotel, but recommend that guests check out all pertinent info at check in.

The location of the hotel was ideal for me as it was very close to the ferry terminal and also within walking distance of the city center, with the added bonus of a beautiful sea view from both my room and the restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay all the more enjoyable. Plus, the breakfast buffet was fabulous with a great selection of fruit, pastries, and hot dishes.
Nothing to fault.

Great location, good breakfast Spent Easter at this hotel and enjoyed the fact that it was located within walking distance of downtown and had beautiful views of the sea. the breakfast spread was impressive and had something for everyone. One of the best things was the variety of bread available. we appreciated that there were plenty of areas for relaxing with a drink and enjoying the scenery.
Noisy and uncomfortable room Unfortunately, the noise from the highway outside was hard to ignore, making it difficult to relax in the room. the lack of proper air conditioning and ventilation made the room uncomfortably warm and stuffy, especially at night.

I had the best stay at this hotel in Rønne. The location was perfect, as it was so close to the ferry terminal and just on the outskirts of the city center. It was incredibly convenient for exploring the city and getting around. The hotel facilities were excellent, especially the spa. I enjoyed relaxing and rejuvenating myself after a long day of sightseeing. The cleanliness of the hotel was remarkable, with everything spotless and well-maintained. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
All was perfect.

Excellent breakfast, disappointing lack of English tea bags. Rolls were stodgy, but fruit was brilliant. Beautiful sea view and convenient location near ferry terminal and city center. Spa had more amenities than expected, with free tea and fruit. Comfortable bed and lovely shower.
